the mood for poems...
Just trying... and you can opt to ignore the nonsense from me lol:
I love to eat,
but I do not like to eat much.
When I eat,
I always eat too much!

help: contacts lost after iOS 5 upgrade
In the recent spade of events where you panic after updating to iOS5 on your iphone, I believe this will be useful to refer to. :)
Many thanks to the original contributer taken from here:
Solution #0
Sorry to throw this in, but I feel the contacts disappearing is just because your phone isn’t done syncing:
Please give your phone a chance to restore. Remember, a new OS means a fresh install, and restoring a backup. If you interrupt that (as I did) you may not have all your apps, settings, songs, etc.
Solution #1 – The Text Message Fix
This seems to be the most popular solution if you can see your contacts in your text messaging:
You should have your contacts back. Please delete the “edit the contact in some way” if you don’t want it.
Solution #2 – The iCloud Fix
This is probably related to problems with iCloud:
Again, this probably triggers a “re-sync” with iCloud to force contacts back.
Solution #3 – The Import from SIM Fix
This fix relies on you storing contacts in your SIM card most likely:
I wouldn’t rely on this as it may vary based on carrier.
Solution #4 – Reset Your iPhone
Reset and force a re-sync:
Hope it works!
Solution #5 – Restore Your iPhone
Last resort:
Many thanks to the original contributer taken from here:
Solution #0
Sorry to throw this in, but I feel the contacts disappearing is just because your phone isn’t done syncing:
- Connect your iPhone to iTunes
- Click on your iPhone in the left panel under devices
- Click “Sync” in the lower right corner.
- Open a recent Text Message
- Tap the top of the screen (scrolls to the top of the message)
- Tap “Contact”
- Edit the contact in some way (add an email, new fake phone number or something, you can delete later
- Hit the “Back” button
You should have your contacts back. Please delete the “edit the contact in some way” if you don’t want it.
Solution #2 – The iCloud Fix
This is probably related to problems with iCloud:
- Go to “Settings”
- Click on “iCloud” (it’s in the app section if you scroll down)
- Turn off your settings
- Turn them back on
Again, this probably triggers a “re-sync” with iCloud to force contacts back.
Solution #3 – The Import from SIM Fix
This fix relies on you storing contacts in your SIM card most likely:
- Go to “Settings”
- Click on “Mail, Contacts, Calendars”
- Click “Import SIM Contacts”
I wouldn’t rely on this as it may vary based on carrier.
Solution #4 – Reset Your iPhone
Reset and force a re-sync:
- Make sure you are connected to iTunes and online
- Turn off your iPhone
- Turn it on again
- iPhone should sync automatically (this could take time, don’t interrupt it!)
Hope it works!
Solution #5 – Restore Your iPhone
Last resort:
- Plug iPhone into Computer
- Launch iTunes
- After it’s done syncing, right click on iPhone (under devices in the left) and click on “Restore from Backup”
- Choose one (it may not be the most recent, some folks have bad backups just before the upgrade)
- Let the iPhone restore completely
- DO NOT CONNECT TO iCLOUD

fun with jigsaw puzzle...
I remembered when I was a kid, I used to have quite a bit of fun with jigsaw puzzles. Now it seems that assembling jigsaw puzzles is sadly, a dying hobby.
My sweetheart & I bought a set recently and we began assembling earlier today. Boy it is indeed tough even for a mere 500 piece set! While I was working on the set, these thoughts came to my mind:
- Life is very much like a set of jigsaw puzzle. You have to sort out the pieces first, one at a time.
What ever happens in life, no matter how bad the circumstances, it will be wise to deal with them one issue at a time. Help is never too far away.
- Finding a partner is like looking for the correct piece to complete the jigsaw puzzle, you need to find that piece that fits perfectly!
Save yourself from all the emotional labour from broken relationships. Seriously, may God bless you with the right partner.
We have yet to complete the jigsaw puzzle, but the process is mighty fun! I do think that life is indeed very much like a jigsaw puzzle, with each piece resembling a chapter of your life. Each and every piece assembled will form a complete & beautiful picture, that is God's purpose in life for us.
The Christian life is not always a bed of roses, there are up and downs, good and bad times. We do not know why such things happen and many times we resent these moments. Stay strong everyone! We have yet to see the complete picture!
So when did you last lay your hands on a set of jigsaw puzzle? :D

a fresh new start...
Okay, to cut the long story short, I have accidentally deleted all the photos that were uploaded onto this blog since 2006 through Google+.
Little did I know that all those photos are the actual photos linked to this blog via Picasa Web Albums and not what I believe to be new copies of them uploaded onto Google+. How silly of me to delete them all without reading the warning that popped out to confirm my action. I just clicked 'Okay' and they got deleted instantly.
Oh well, let it be God's will haha... Looking through the blog posts I wrote back in the days, they were pure silly anyway.
So to all my readers, be sure to read carefully. :D
